Averos CTO Dr. Anas Basalamah wins the Okaz Innovator of the Year

More than 300,000 people visited the 10th edition of the annual Souk Okaz festival, which was inaugurated by Makkah Emir Prince Khaled Al-Faisal at Al-Arfa Historic Souk area.The festival houses awards for many categories including people with innovative ideas who were able to establish innovative work models and turn their ideas into tangible products in the form of a startup.

Dr. Anas Mohammad Saleh Basalamah the CTO of Averos won the Okaz Innovator of the year Award for the year 2016. The award was given to him during the opening ceremony of Souq Okaz in August, 2016 by the Deputy President of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Dr. Najah Y. Ashry, in the presence of the Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Governor of Makkah, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal.
